As hilarious as may sound, Nana Kwaku Bonsam has revealed that he named his children after two Ghanaian music titans, Shatta Wale and Sarkodie.
According to the renowned fetish priest born Stephen Osei Mensah, his admiration for the musicians compelled him to outdoor his children in their honour.
Speaking in an interview on Onua FM, Kwaku Bonsam indicated that Sarkodie and Shatta Wale are his favourites and close to his heart.
“Shatta Wale and Sarkodie are two of my all-time favorite musicians. To honour Shatta and Sark, I’ve named my children after them. Yaa Shatta Bonsam and Sark are my daughter’s names.
“It’s a done deal. Their birth certificate has it. I can show it to you immediately from my phone,” he told Larry the Oldman on Onua FM’s Anigye mmere program.
He also hinted that Shatta Wale’s ‘I Know My level’, Stonebwoy’s ‘Putu’ and Sarkodie’s ‘Saara’ are among his other top picks.
And even though he has never met them before, he’s hoping to meet them face-to-face.
“I’ve only met a few musicians. In Nkoranza during the program, I met Daddy Lumba and Samini, who I later met in America. Shatta and Sarkodie are two artists I’d want to meet.“
